PGE Congress
Almost 400 participants from Poland and abroad came to Bełchatów to attend the International Congress of the Lignite Mining Industry. It is one of the biggest events of this type in the mining industry in Poland. During a three-day conference, miners, scientists, businessmen and economists debated on the power safety and the future of lignite. A lot of attention was paid to modern technologies, applied in the mining industry, e.g. application of flexible hoses for deep-well pumps. Speeches prepared by both the scientists and the representatives of the mining industry were presented at the conference.
